Makeup Essentials!

I started wearing makeup when I was 15 years old, which is surprisingly older than when most girls start. I just woke up one day, and thought I’m fifteen now and I’m an adult(not even sort of the case) so I need to start caking powder on my face and wearing lipstick so bright pink it would make Nicki Minaj blush. Obviously, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. Makeup isles at any store are so chaotic and bright, you are instantly flustered and distracted by all of the pretty colors. So before you set off on your “journey of womanhood” read my list of essential makeup bag items to make the experience a little less painful.
Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation- $7.99
I love this liquid foundation! It spreads so easily, and doesn't look too thick on your face. This foundation is also set up on a number system so that once you find the foundation that matches your skin tone, you can just buy your powder, concealer, and blush that goes with the corresponding number. How easy is that?!

Maybelline's Fit Me Powder- $7.99

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette- $27.00
Okay, I too almost fainted when I saw the price tag, but it is worth every penny. It will last you for years because you only need a teeny tiny bit for a full lid of shadow.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer- $17.00
I know when I was first starting to wear make up I had more pimples than I did skin, and this concealer not only covers the bumps, but also is helping get rid of them at the same time! Sign me up!

Urban Decay Glide On Eye Pencils- $19.00
Eyeliners are kinda like boyfriends, it's hard to find a good one. And this eyeliner is the prince charming of eyeliners!

Maybelline's Volum' Express Falsies- $7.00
This mascara will make you have beautiful eyes without having to put on those scary, hard to wear false eyelashes.

E.L.F. Blush- $3.00
three bucks for a beautiful blush? don't mind if I do.

NYC Lipstick- $1.99
I hardly ever wore lipstick when I first started wearing makeup, but I definitely wouldn't want to spend a ton of money on something that would be wiped off as soon as I started eating my GoGurt.  This is a good and reasonable lipstick for young girls.

I will leave you with a cliché used all the time about makeup, but is sooo true. Less is more when it comes to make up ladies!

With Love,
Darcy.
